Inspired by ocean waves, Ombak, is our first portable cordless lamp, designed to bring the calming essence of the seaside into your home. Drawing from the tranquility of ocean waves, this lamp creates a serene atmosphere, perfect for winding down after a long day or serving as a gentle nightlight.

The Ombak series offers versatility with interchangeable shades and bases, allowing you to effortlessly switch up colors and designs whenever you desire a change. 

Inspired by the fluid motion of whirlpools and ocean swirls, the Ombak Swirl's intricately designed shade transforms light into a soothing, wave-like ambiance. 

With its soft, soothing glow, the Ombak lamp is ideal for promoting restful sleep. And when the morning comes, its elegant, Art Deco-inspired style adds a touch of timeless sophistication to your space.

 

We use 3D printing manufacturing techniques. So, each product will have minor variations in color and texture, making each item truly unique!

Estimated production time is 1-2 weeks. We will start shipping after production of each lamp is complete. Each lamp is made-to-order (made after we receive the order) in our design studio in JB, Malaysia.

Design

For our debut portable cordless lamp, we sought to blend the organic forms of nature with the structured patterns of Art Deco. We were drawn to Art Deco's emphasis on geometric ornamentation and repeating shapes—such as squares, triangles, chevrons, and zigzags—believing these elements would complement the fluid, organic wave motif inspired by the ocean.

The lamp's dual-layered design, with its concentric center, diffuses light gracefully, creating a soothing, serene ambiance that invites relaxation and comfort.

Materials & Care

Interchangeable lamp shade and base are made from polylactic acid (PLA). The lamp comes with a cork based bottom. The Ombak lamp shades can be interchanged with the base to vary up the colours and design.

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. For any stubborn marks, dab a cloth in a little soap and wipe thoroughly. For obvious reasons, please make sure your beautiful lamp is unplugged while you do this!

Awesome love it!

I love how the build quality is and how simple it is. There are certain improvements I would like seen. 1) The lamp opening could be closed or have an option to close with the same material as creates a different color temp. 2) The lamp could be a tad brighter as I find it insuffient to use it as bedside reading light. 3)Some feedback on the charging could help too with letting us know that the charging is done.

Received the lamp in good order. Overall the design is great. Lightweight which make it easier to bring for travelling. Great light with dimming feature. Love that it is wireless.
However, I find the switch button a bit difficult to press as it sunken deep in. I have to hold the lamp to an angle where my fingers could reach the button. People with bigger fingers will be worsen. Perhaps a tap button would be better.
Overall it is a nice to have in the household.
