At Lampu Lampu, we love working with customers to bring unique lighting ideas to life — from personalised colourways of our existing lamps to fully customised, one-of-a-kind designs. Before you begin your custom project, here are the key things to know about our process, timeline, and pricing.
1. Types of Customisations Available
A. Custom Colourways
We can create your favourite Lampu Lampu designs in new colours or finishes.
This includes:
- Matching your interior palette
- Subtle tone-on-tone looks
- Bold experimental colours
- Gradient or layered combinations
📌 Typical lead time: 3–4 weeks
📌 Pricing: ~30–40% additional fee on top of our standard lamp prices due to the need for us to source custom colours in small quantities
B. Modified Versions of Existing Lamps
If you love one of our lamps but need:
- A different size (e.g., table → floor lamp)
- A pendant version
- A different shape or proportion
- A customised texture, pattern, or glow style
We can tailor our existing designs to fit your space.

C. Fully Custom Designs
From scratch, based on your vision.
This includes:
- Conceptual ideas

- Brand-specific designs (ideal for F&B, retail, offices)

2. What You’ll Need to Provide
To help us design accurately, we’ll ask you for:
- The lamp type (table, floor, pendant, etc.)
- Desired size or dimensions. Do note that as we use 3D printing techniques, our manufacturing limitations is set by the 3D printer which is approximately 33cm L x 33cm W x 33cm H build plate size.
- Photos/renders of your space (recommended)
- Style references, moodboard, or visual inspiration
- Colour palette
- Your estimated budget
- Any deadline (e.g., renovation, event, opening)
Uploading photos or moodboards greatly speeds up the design process and ensures our proposal is aligned with your vision. The more detail you provide, the better we can execute on your idea!
3. Pricing & Payment Terms
- Custom colourways add 30–40% to existing lamp prices
- Fully custom designs are quoted individually
- After we prepare a quotation, a 20% deposit is required to confirm the project
- Remaining payment is due before shipping
We will always be transparent about pricing before moving forward.
4. Lead Times
- Custom colourways: 2–3 weeks
- Modified existing designs: Varies depending on complexity
- Fully custom designs: Varies depending on complexity
If you have a specific deadline (e.g., shop opening, birthday, housewarming), please let us know early so we can advise on feasibility.
5. Warranty & Policies
- All customised lamps are non-refundable
- Warranty applies to electrical components only (1 year)
- All Lampu Lampu lamps are intended for indoor use
- We do not provide installation services — an electrician/contractor may be required for pendant lamp installation
