Unlit, the Jubin Lamp sits quietly — clean, understated, almost colourless. Switch it on, and something remarkable happens. Vibrant, jewel-like colours bloom through each panel, revealing intricate Peranakan tile designs that seem to glow from within. Four sides, four unique patterns — a different view from every angle.

Jubin is the Malay word for tile. Inspired by the ornate, hand-painted tilework of Peranakan heritage — vivid geometry and colour passed down through generations — this lamp is a meaningful piece for anyone who carries a love of culture, craft, and home. A true statement piece.

We use 3D printing manufacturing techniques. So, each product will have minor variations in color and texture, making each item truly unique!

Design

Crafted using lithophane 3D printing, the Jubin Lamp holds a quiet secret. Unlit, it appears calm and colourless — a study in subtle form. Switch it on, and jewel-like colours bloom through the panels as if conjured from nothing, echoing the vibrant warmth of Nyonya architecture. The diffuser top draws from the aeration tile blocks found across Southeast Asia, letting light breathe outward in a gentle, patterned glow.

Materials & Care

The lithophane panels and shade structure are made from PLA, with a PETG diffuser top and PLA base. The lamp also comes with a durable sturdy cord and a standard 3-pin plug head.

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. For any stubborn marks, dab a cloth in a little soap and wipe thoroughly. For obvious reasons, please make sure your beautiful lamp is unplugged while you do this!
